It did not take long for word to reach her concerning the events that took place between her cousin and Enrique. After several curses were muttered, Alexandria sent out riders from Sundara to all the other coastal towns and cities...knowing that Enrique would attempt to find a vessel to ferry him back towards Paraiso. Their job was to find him -- and stall him. Hopefully it would be enough time for her to journey there to try to convince him to rethink his hasty decision.
Why should he flee Ithilian simply because her cousin did not want him as her guard? There was so much more here...especially considering his dislike of the idea of going back home.
A note was dispatched with each rider, to give to Enrique should they find him.
“Do not get on a ship just yet, Enrique. Let us talk. As the woman who saved your life...I think you owe me that much. Especially when you pledged yourself into my service just as you did to my cousins.”
