Heyho, quickly dropping by to post the link to the first fashion haul review I’ve ever made (on a side blog to this blog) and repost it here. If you’re interested, I’m kind of trying out the whole fashion review thing (though I can’t quite decide whether on a different tumblr blog or wordpress is better, so for now I’ll be posting on both.) Sooo:
First Sheinside Experience First time ordering from sheinside, and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised.
Customer Service 4/5 My immediate feeling after placing the order was a sort of anxiety because I hadn’t checked all of the possible problems that might occur (duty and VAT etc.) due to the crazy midnight mood I was in and I was so stressed after that). So I tried cancelling it, but there was a problem with that due to holidays over there (which only made me more dubious), but once I contacted the customer service, they were very ready to help me after I explained my problem. I even got a free returns label, which I’ll use to send back some of the things. (I’m wondering whether that’ll go smoothly or not.)
Shipping + Duty 5/5 The package came around 10 days after placing the order, which is really surprising, considering all the rants saying it took several weeks, sometimes even months. And also, there was no duty because the package came from Belgium to me (Germany). I had a tracking number and the tracking company kept me informed regularly.
Clothes Quality 3/5 The quality is okay, I guess, considering the price. It’s wearable, it’s not itchy or anything. Quite comfortable actually, but the jumpsuits are of the kind of material that won’t let through air, so it’ll be rather warm in them (and depend on your preference that’s either good or bad). The sweater isn’t itchy, but it doesn’t feel like a Polo sweater. The sweater material is like Primark.
Clothes Design 5/5 The designs in real life are really close to the pictures. And those are really pretty!
Clothes Fit 3/5 The only big problem for me is that 2 out of 3 things don’t fit properly. The sweater is perfect since I like them baggy and comfy anyway, but the white jumpsuit with black/blue-ish pattern is too loose under my armpits even though it’s S (you can’t see on the pic, since it’s frontal). The completely white jumpsuit is like that too, even worse (since I got in in M hoping it would be longer than on the pics but it was only wider). The biggest problem with the white lace one is that it’s way too revealing because it’s so short you can only wear it by pulling it down (and thereby showing more cleavage). And that’s such a pity because they’re so cute…
Will I Order Again?
Perhaps. Part of me really likes the clothes and since shipping and duty went perfectly this time I’d love to order again. My parents are completely against it (since some things didn’t fit and all), and I can understand where they’re coming from. It is a lot of work if the clothes don’t fit or you don’t like it because returning is troublesome and most of the time expensive (mine was an exception). It’s actually my first time ordering clothes from a Chinese online shop, and all in all, it was a relatively good experience (despite some problems). QI’ll definitely keep an eye on sheinside.
In a nutshell, if the item is sth where size doesn’t really matter (like the sweater) buying it should be no problem.

That’s it. I hope I could help anyone who’s thinking about ordering from sheinside. Thanks for reading! Goodbye! (And though it was stressful, it was also kind of fun to do this. I hope I'll find the time to update this kind of thing regularly.)
