oh my god i’m so sorry i never replied to this??? i sort of ghosted tumblr for a while (about a year; any time i posted was from mobile, which sucks) so i’m really sorry @sheithified!

at least i’m in time for s6!

hmmmm i actually having seen any predictions (who could have predicted my extreme and utter disappointment for s5 though, huh? not me) because for my own sanity i limit how much i delve into the voltron fandom, so how about i just list my futile hopes for s6?

- krolia explaining why she left

- how krolia met keith’s dad–ideally with a whole montage flashback episode that shows the progression of their relationship up until she had to leave them

- what happened to papa kogane (ALSO MAYBE HIS NAME???? DREAMW*RKS CAN I GET A WAFFLE? CAN I PLEASE GET A WAFFLE???)

- BABY KEITH VIA FLASHBACK PLEASE

- wishful thinking, but a kogane family reunion would be nice

- understanding wtf is happening to shiro would be great too thanks

- lotor and haggar confrontation (LOTOR I AM YOUR MOTHER!!!)

- lotor and keith actually sitting down and talking pls pls give me anything they have too many parallels for them to keep just passing each other by

- lotor acknowledging keith’s potential and worth (because no one else does) and offering him a position in the Empire by his side

- uh maybe a day in the life of the Blade of Marmora? ideally keith interacting with the other blades and not just kolivan (gimme the sweet slice of life episode for the galra rebels we deserve)

i reread my copy of Silver & Gold today and... just overwhelmed with warm fuzzies. my fav comic was Just Kids. or uhm maybe its the Restaurant AU... or all of them, haha. <3 thanks for putting it together.

Smuggler Jesse with a blaster and NO CONNECTION TO THE FORCE, FOR REALS, no seriously how did you just take out seven people with one shot and he’s like “lol just that good I guess”. Jedi Gabe is like “you are my padawan now congratulations” and Jedi Jack is like “he’s SEVENTEEN!!” Spoilers: Gabe doesn’t care, this is his padawan now. 

Crime family son/borderline-but-not-really-into-it Sith Genji Shimada gets in a fight with his brother and ends up rebuilt by the Jedi, BASICALLY out of droid parts. It is painful and miserable and he is not happy about it, but at least he’s alive enough for Vengeance. 

Vengeance is not the Jedi way, Genji is informed. GENJI IS NOT A JEDI, THE JEDI ARE INFORMED. The Council decides Genji is their responsibility, and must be taught better (so he can help bring down his increasingly-closer-to-Sith family, cough cough. BUT VENGEANCE IS NOT THE JEDI WAY, OF COURSE.). 

Jesse and Genji meet on some Jedi mission or another and they both immediately have some very un-Jedi thoughts about each other and partake in some VERY un-Jedi behaviors together. The Council is like “… do we put them on MORE missions together or do we prevent them from ever seeing each other again for the good of the galaxy?” 

Then Order 66 happens and Darth Reaper replaces Jedi Master Gabriel Reyes, among other horrible things, and Jesse and Genji don’t see each other again for a very long time. 

+ bonus: Then in the Rebellion, back-to-smuggling!Jesse meets a very unusual pair of droids and one of them has a lightsaber and–knows his name? The fuck??

just curious, but do you habitually have commissions open every few months, or was this round a rare thing?

I actually have only done commissions a handful of times--like, maybe three or four? So far what seems to work best for me is doing small rounds of two or three at a time. I might take a break from doing them for a little bit after I finish the current one (I gotta do some work on the alpha!Darcy fic), but after that I’m planning to do another round.
