About shallureith... I often think about them sharing a silent hug after battles, particularly dangerous ones, as a way of saying "I'm home, nothing happened, I'm here". They often put their neck in the line, no way of knowing if they'll ever be back. They always cherish the returns.

Ahhh I love the idea of end of mission hugs!Casual and simple missions - short, sweet, happy little hugs, everything is fine and we did a good job. It’s a disgustingly sappy sight to any onlookers Scary full on missions - a bit more agressive in their hugs, and might end up in a bit of an ear bashing because those 3 can be reckless af sometimes so at least one of them probably did something crazy, but they’re just so relieved they’re all okay and home safelyShit hits the fan bad, one of them gets seriously injured or mysteriously disappears *side eyes Shiro* - Keith and Allura would probably be really clingy as soon as they know the other/s is safe; Shiro has a bit more self restrained but he’d be insanely relieved the other/s are okay and would be vocal about it. But damn they’d have long, lingering, emotional hugs because even with magical healing pods, things get scary in war’ and it’s so easy for something to go wrong and lose one of them

Very self indulgent drawings of an AU where kid galtean Keith has bat features, and uses his shapeshifting skills to keep them hidden, but he’s not very good at it and sometimes his ears and nose come up. Shiro befriended him after saving him from some bullies and Allura is an Earth stranded altean who helps Keith with his abilities, while also being happy that she’s not alone after all.
