Shelly had been at a rave, lost to the music and in disguise. He’d only been 19 at the time and was using a fake ID. Not realizing what was being passed around he accepted a party pill from his dance partner. What followed he recalls more like a dream. But he could swear he let a vampire bite his arm and that they were chased off by Buffy. In the end, the next clear thing was being driven home by his very concerned bodyguard.

Sitting in his room reading, Minion watching anime in the background. Shelly doesn’t watch and claims he doesn’t really like them, but he sings along fluently to the opening song and knows all the characters names.

Dear Emma,

      I’m sitting her in my room, I’d missed it while I was gone. Missed the bed I was most familiar with, the huge expanse that was everything I’d ever wanted before. But I can’t sleep. I’d rather be in your tiny apartment with you. Rather listening to the sounds of the bar downstairs than the silence of these halls. I never thought it would ache so much. I can’t even call you. There are so many things I want to show you. So many projects I wanted to get back to. 

      It all seems pointless now. It’s so stupid. I even miss your shitty pizza. Can you imagine? I just-

Dear mom

Dear Mother,

      I’m not sorry for what I said but I am sorry for how I said it. I wish I could make you understand. I love both you and father with all my heart. Please don’t think I don’t appreciate you and everything you’ve done. I missed you so much, thought about you constantly through the entire year I was gone. But please, mother, you must understand that you can’t both just keep deciding my life for me. I don’t need to be protected anymore. 

      I wish you hadn’t forced me to choose. Hadn’t put me into this position. The last thing I wanted was to cut you out of my life. But Even if the things you did cost me Wayne, I still chose him. I chose the life that I would have had. Betraying my trust, my choice, won’t make me return, won’t make me accept the life you want me to have. This is who I am now. Who I want to be.

      I’m sorry that isn’t someone you can love.

Judgement

JUDGEMENT: Would your muse ever go back to their most recent ex-lover?

{{ Well I don’t really consider Wayne an ex because it’s a short separation but...}}

Sheldon would get back with Wayne in a heartbeat, begging forgiveness for his fuck up. He screwed up so majorly and his parents only made it worse. He still loves Wayne dearly and considers Wayne the one. He can’t imagine loving anyone more.

His only ex before that was Roxanne. He could never picture himself with her ever again but... he’s gotten to the point where it would be nice to have closure. To be able to clear the air and maybe be friends.

The Hanged Man

THE HANGED MAN: Name a bad habit your muse can't give up. 

Sheldon relies far too much on alcohol when he’s upset. He knows he does. He sees what it has done to his parents... but it’s the easiest coping thing he has. But it's also his fun social outlet. He couldn’t imagine not having it... but... he was reminded so harshly of how dangerous of a line he was dancing when returning home. Watching Mother poor from her flask into her morning coffee. As if none of them knew... He doesn’t want to end up like that... and yet... he had a bottle of wine every night in his room while back home. To relax with Minion. To numb the heartache.
