EL - "Shelele"
EL has been rapping for years, but he only blew up in Ghana once he started rhyming - in pidgin English - over dance floor beats, with hits like "Obuu Mo" or "Kaalu." Still a hip-hop head at heart, EL has been dishing out more hip-hop songs since, but finally he is back in the club with this enormous jam, “Shelele.” The beat is by DJ Breezy, who seems to be behind every other hit song in Ghana right now ("Seihor," "Tonga," "Selfie"). This song is not azonto (that dance died out two years ago), the moves right now are dubbed alkayida ... yep, alkayida, gotta love Ghana!
