For Now and Forever (a vampire rev!KevEdd for Shellbasaur)
So this is my first request, completed (for now?). I must admit I kind of want to carry this on and make it a proper fic instead of just a one-shot, which is why the ending is a bit of a cliffhanger (nothing seriously nail biting, just like it could either end there or continue)
Anyway, I sincerely hope anyone who reads this enjoys it, especially you Shellbasaur, seeing as you are the one who asked for this. I hope I did your idea justice...
“Well, well, well; what have we here?” The redhead’s eye snapped open as he felt cool fingers wrap themselves daintily around his outstretched wrists.
“A lone little minnow, all for me? This must be my lucky day.” The voice above him purred, sending shivers down his spine. Swallowing the lump in his throat he sputtered a response, cringing inwardly at the painfully obvious tremor in his voice.
“W-who are y-you, and w-what do you w-want?” The voice above him chuckled darkly and his hands lowered slightly as Kevin found himself looking into a pair of piercing green eyes.
“Who I am is of no importance. However, what I want…” he trailed off, his eyes sliding down to take in the sight of the pyjama-clad boy before him.
A fleeting frown graced the stranger’s pale features only to be swiftly replaced with a mischievous grin, revealed a gap in his front teeth and ‘Fangs?’ Kevin’s mind screamed ‘Why has he got fangs? What’s going on here?’ His panicked musings were cut short as he was pushed onto his back with a yelp of surprise. The stranger straddled him and pinned his wrists to the rough tiles of the roof.
“What I want,” he repeated, his voice dropping to a whisper “is you.” The statement made Kevin halt in his desperate and completely useless struggling and look into the fervent eyes of the man above him.
Are his eyes moving? Nah, I’m just imagining things…’ The longer he looked, the more he felt himself becoming light-headed, his eyelids drooping behind his glasses.
“Wha-“
“Hush, pumpkin, I’ve been waiting for this for far too long; I grow weary of watching patiently from the sidelines.” Without another word he brought his lips to Kevin’s, smirking against them when he received nothing but drowsy compliance from the teenager.
Prying the boy’s lips apart with his tongue he pulled at his bottom lip in a silent command for the other contribute more to the embrace. Picking up on the hint Kevin snaked his tongue around his and the two wrestled for dominance. The stranger, of course, won. Breaking the embrace he hovered a few inches from Kevin’s face and watched him gulp down the freezing air. He, Kevin noticed, remained wholly unflustered.
“Who-“ He tried again, only to be silenced by a harsh tone.
“I have told you once to be silent; I will not say it again.” The redhead cringed and the stranger visibly softened.
“I apologise, pumpkin.”
“I just want… to know your… name.” The stranger laughed quietly.
“Such a stubborn little minnow.” Leaning down again, he nipped at Kevin’s earlobe “You may call me Eddward.”
“Edd…ward…” Humming into the boy’s throat he smiled, liking the way his name fell off his heavily influenced tongue.
‘Hypnotic eyes truly are one the few blessings given to the eternally damned.’ He pressed his lips down the boy’s jugular - revelling in the steady, powerful throb of his pulse.
His progress was stopped by the collar of Kevin’s t-shirt; he hesitated for a second before taking the worn fabric between his teeth and rearing back, effectively ripping the shirt down to the boy’s navel. Kevin squirmed as the cold hit him and Eddward took a moment to appreciate the smooth undefined torso that lay bare before him.
When he had taken his fill he turned his attention to the teen’s collarbone: digging his teeth in enough to draw blood he earned a sharp hiss from Kevin. Lapping at the blood daintily he looked again at the teenager below him, biting his lip in an effort to distract from the stinging pain.
“Look at me.” He commanded, his voice surprisingly gentle. Kevin obeyed, although it required a bit of effort to keep his eyelids from falling closed again.
“Let me have you, Kevin; let me own you for the rest of eternity.” It was more a demand than a request, but the redhead still hesitated a moment before answering.
“What… if I say no?” He muttered, staring with as much defiance as he could muster in his drowsy state. Eddward chuckled.
“Defiant even when hypnotised; you are such a treat.” Bending momentarily to bite into Kevin’s other collarbone he sat back, blood highlighting his lower lip. “I require an answer, however, pumpkin; yes, or no?”
For a moment the only sounds that could be heard were the chirping of crickets and the rustle of leaves. If Eddward still had a heart to beat, it would have been accelerated exponentially. Just as he could bear it no longer, Kevin shifted below him, his jaw set.
“Yes.” Edd struggled to hold back a victorious smile.
“You’re sure?”
“Did I…. stutter?” No longer able to contain himself the undead teen chuckled and released the redhead’s wrists.
“No, pumpkin. No you most certainly did not.”
Reaching around to grasp the back of Kevin’s head Eddward pulled him into a seated position against his chest. He shifted his weight to his knees so he was kneeling over the boy rather than straddling him completely. He brought his other arm up to wrap securely around Kevin’s waist and tilted his head to allow easier access to his throat.
He ran his tongue up the jugular vein.
“This will only pinch a little, pumpkin.” He murmured. Kevin brought his hands up to fist Eddward’s shirt, not entirely sure what was about to happen.
The redhead barely suppressed a cry of pain and surprise when Eddward sank his teeth into his throat. He was gripping the other’s shirt so tight his knuckles had gone white and his toes seemed unable to decide whether they wanted to curl or unfurl.
After a minute that felt like an hour the pain began subsiding, replaced with a pleasant dull throb as Eddward continued sucking greedily at the blood spilling from the wound.
“Edd…ward…” he whispered, unclenching his fists to tangle them in the taller male’s hair. It was only then that he realised he was wearing a beanie. As he was about to worm his fingers under the fabric Eddward resurfaced, grasping his wrists with a stern glint in his eyes.
“We do not touch the hat, understood?” Receiving a meek nod he smirked, revealing one glistening red fang.
“Now then; I believe it is your turn, pumpkin.” This statement perplexed Kevin.
“My… turn?” Eddward nodded, wincing ever so slightly as he bit deeply into his own tongue. Placing his hands on either side of the boy’s face he leaned in to capture his lips. He did not have to hint at what he wanted this time; Kevin parted his lips almost immediately, swallowing the coppery blood as it seeped from Eddward’s mouth and into his. Unlike the last kiss this one was slow, controlled; this one had a purpose.
When Eddward deemed this purpose fulfilled he pulled away, a string of bloody saliva stretching between them.
“That should be more than enough, I would think.” Kevin was not sure what he was talking about exactly, but he could feel a strange sensation spreading through his body. An odd numbness crept in his veins, and while it was not unpleasant, it certainly would have served to alarm the boy if he had been in a more alert state of mind. As it was, he still noticed, and was curious.
“What… have you…. done?” Eddward brought their foreheads together and stared into Kevin’s eyes with unnerving intensity.
“You agreed to this, remember Kevin? You said yes. This was your choice.”
“What was my… choice?” A slow grin lit up the pale teen’s stern face.
