LMAO, I read the callout PSA they shamelessly linked in the comments of that post, and yeah, no, valid. I hope you never get another adopt or design off TH again. Why the hell are you chargebacking people for adopts you bought from them? You’re literally a scammer. Even if you did refund everyone eventually, a chargeback still leaves a negative mark on their PayPal account — not to mention the inconvenience you caused by suddenly ripping that money from their accounts without warning.
Even if it was caused by mania or a mental health episode, that’s not an excuse in my opinion. You need to live with the consequences of your actions, which include people refusing to do business with you or give you their OCs/designs.
Just because you ended up righting your wrong, a.k.a. paying everyone back doesn’t mean you deserve instant forgiveness or that people should feel comfortable doing business with you again just because you “fixed it.”
I had a situation where my friend bought me gifts on TH / Vgen through OCs and commissions, then charged them back. I paid everyone back with the understanding that, despite explaining the situation, I wouldn’t be upset if they blacklisted me. Luckily, no one did but my situation was different (I didn’t purposefully charge people back). So... Idk it just irks me that you're acting upset by this knowing dang well you deserve the caution.
