A formers ships cat she found herself washed up in Weedstar’s cave when in a storm destroyed her ship and deceived well she might as well stay

Shellfreckle was a former ships cat. Living her whole life at sea and very content with the thrills, twolegs and unpredictability
She takes everything in her stride but is kinda an idiot lmao. The most unohased cat you ever did see

Her ship was torn to pieces and that was one of the few moments in life that this mogs face broke- terror stricken. She was tossed and turned, eventully waking up covered in sand and soaked through in a suprisingly well lit marine cave. She lay there for a long time trying to summon the strength to stand.
While she was recovering she turned and saw a familiar grey shape slumped in the sand
‘Stone!!’ She cried and crawled over to him-it cost all her strength but she had to help him. Licking him with all the force she could summon she tried in vain to wake him up-she was there a while before he finally stirred at which point she pressed her face against his purred and passed out
She woke up again, dry and clean in a soft nest-panic rose in her again at the thought of stone but a paw was placed on her own
A young grey face was looking down at her
‘Hi I’m Weedstar and this is my cave’ the stranger greeted her
‘Where’s the grey spotted cat!?!’ She almost shrieked
‘I’m over here shell don’t worry’ came a weak voice from a tail length away
Shell purred at that and relaxed a little
‘Are you hurt?’
‘Just shaken, nothing a few moments rest won’t fix. And you’
‘Yeah I think I’m chill’
Stone turned to their rescuer
‘And how could we calm you young’un’
‘Um.. my names Weedstar’
‘A stranger name I never did here I’m sure’
Weed laughed at that and settled down to tell the two newcomers of the clans and the stars and in return shelll and stone gave Weedstar knowledge of their past and how it had come to be that they were laying in the floor of his cave
‘We washed in from far out in the ocean, through that underwater entrance over there and then you found us’ said she’ll by means of explaintion. Leaving Weedstar with more questions
And so it was that Shell and Stone become shellfreckle and stonefur, deputy and medicine cat of ghoulclan. Named for the spirits that Weedstar spoke too in her concious and unconscious states
More cats would join them but that dear reader will be explained in other parts
