𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐀 ➜ 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊: ❛❛ – that kid is never coming back. ❜❜ @shemves
the room is still buzzing with the frenetic energy of an argument that had just succinctly concluded, an argument that the bassist had tried to keep his cool during. mark’s chest and shoulders fall slack, and feeling defeated, his lanky body crumples into an armchair. pamela appears to be the only thing that brings him solace at the moment as he regards her gently, affectionately. in a quiet tone of voice, he addresses pamela’s frustration with hope. ❛❛ – he’ll come back, sweetheart. he’s a difficult kid but that’s coz he’s jus’ not used to havin’ parents, yunno ? ❜❜

⤑ ON THE BODY
maddie has roundish almond eyes, the roundish of her siblings. so it fits more into the doe-like innocent people often assume of her. it’s the same brown as the twins; if you look at this chart here, it’s similar to sable (raleigh’s the chuck hazel). her eyelashes are normal, though she feels they could be thicker or darker, so she does wear fake lashes when wearing makeup. and they’re alert, bright, where they do look bigger than they actually are.
❝ my child drives me crazy but i love her and wouldn’t have it any other way. ❞
meme ft. @shemves
that elicits a smile. a small one, but one nonetheless, and he holds his hand out for the aforementioned child to engage with, if she wants to. it may seem like he’s ignoring her in favor of entertaining, but it’s a few moments later that he laughs light, shrugs a little. it’s a sentiment he’s heard before, but one that holds the same intense amount of meaning each and every time it’s uttered. he gets it, sort of, and so he doesn’t want to overstep or dull the sentiment of it. “mm. well. my babysitting offer is always on the table.”
@shemves said : it’s been like three months since anything’s happened.
❝ funny how for some people that could be a good thing. ❞ lips curve into a cheeky little smile, which he tries and fails to hide behind his glass. he doesn’t really mean to be unhelpful, but he’s had a bit to drink by that point, and the very specific fuzziness make him feel a little looser than he would be when sober. he takes his time to regard her with a curious glance, languid in its lack of subtlety. he likes the way her hair looks, and though he doesn’t say so out loud, not for the first time such a little detail puts her with the many others he’d like to one day draw. ❝ me friend’s a singer — well, among other things anyway. you could come to one of her gigs with us and see what happens, eh? there’s lots of interesting people to meet, and somethin’ usually happens when you stay long enough to see it through. ❞

❛ Having a gig here? ❜ eyebrows quirk up at the idea, it does not sound bad at all, yet his features remained in the stern and unimpressed nature that he usually carries. The bartender had given the red-head boss some kind of ideas before but he really had brushed them off. ❛ Guess it can work out, depending on the band or singer. What have you. Our stage is small though, not enough space for anything out of the ordinary. ❜

papers are sprawled out across the bar , each one with a unique design oliver had spent the better part of the week making on it. different versions of the words ‘ the aurora ’ peppered the pages ; one was a psychedelic take , the next a more toned down tribute to the rock’n’roll. each version varied to a certain degree because oliver wanted to make certain he was going to please his client. it was exciting to be working outside of the yellow office walls he’d grown accustomed to , & it was even better to be working on something that pleased him. he hoped his effort showed.
❛ now i know you aren’t the boss but i’m certain you can give an opinion , ❜ oliver looks at the curly haired woman , a kind smile gracing his lips. ❛ how do these look ? i don’t want to give them something they most certainly won’t like. ❜

“ ah, yeah. i’ve seen you ‘round before. you following th’ tourbus like one a’ those diehard fans ? ” the tip of his cigarette glows red as he pulls in a much needed breath of nicotine, grey eyes scanning the petite golden girl that he’d seen attend about six crowe’s wings shows; she was more dedicated and consistent than some of his temporary crew members. woods couldn’t tell if he liked her yet or not – having been faced with the worst, trust was not easy to come by when it came to the towering broad-shoulder englishman. “ you fancy one of th’ boys or ‘sommat ? ”
