Whether hiking, cycling or paddling I will always stop to pick rubbish up! It's so sad how much of that rubbish is single use plastic! In this picture I stopped some rubbish floating in the sea, managed to get it without falling in!! @british.canoeing , alongside The Canoe Foundation, is supporting the next @surfersagainstsewage campaign; the ‘Plastic Protest’. From the 5th September to the 18th October ‘The Generation Sea: Plastic Protest’ will see communities take part in grass-routes action designed to challenge the manufacturers of single-use plastics, change public perception and demand stronger legislation from the government. Home! After 5 beautiful days in Devon we are back to reality today, well almost today we are taking Alex's family paddleboarding in Wales! We had an amazing time paddleboarding in the sea (Alex still assures me he had a good time, even though I only have about 4 pictures of him actually smiling!) If you had told me last month I would be paddleboarding in the sea I would have given you a 100 reasons why I couldn't do it!! I finally learnt to paddle stood up (granted it was for 2 mins, then my core went to the Haribo it's made of)!
