Wholeheartedly agree that Sonar is more than happy to tag along with you. I imagine he's always been invested in his appearance. Back when he was working corporate I just know he had to have the nicest suits, 100% Italian leather loafers, expensive cologne, designer shades. Sonar is his own product, and you gotta make sure the merchandise is looking good if you're gonna make the sale, you know?
He's not a stranger to the nail salon, usually goes in once a month to do some basic upkeep. Clear coat to give just enough shine while keeping his cuticles neat and moisturized. Of course he needs his nails trimmed and squared off short just in case the opportunity to work with his hands a bit more arrises (heh).
And after he gets with you, well that's even more important.
It's an added bonus to get a little matching set with you. He's kind of ecstatic when you suggest that actually. Just another way to show off his newest asset--his pretty acquisition.
Needs make sure it's clear who you're with. Plus I think he likes the way it looks, the fresh clean feel of it when y'all hold hands after. Sees it like you want a little piece of yourself on him, soothes the more animal need to mark in the back of his head.
