@shepherdofelysia ;
“ Heeeyy. You know what you should do? You should buy me lunch. You do owe me for saving your life, after all. ”

Without giving the young shepherd time to react (or rather, protest--), Zaveid swung one of his broad arms around the rather fragile frame -- well, fragile compared to his body, that is.
“--Yo, Sorey! What’cha doing? Ya busy? If not, let’s get going, c’mon, c’mon!” Of course, Zaveid was acting like this whole situation was something really important-- but wasn’t it? This was possibly their only chance to...!
“--While they’re still bathing!”

Lucas couldn’t help but stifle his laugh at the display; here we have the legendary shepherd, saviour of the world and vanquisher of evil, drunk on his ass, slurring his entire sentence. It was the most hilarious sight he’d ever seen thus far, and part of him felt bad for laughing at Sorey’s expense, but this is something you don’t see everyday.
“I thought you could handle it when you kept drinkin’ so I didn’t say anythin’.”
The mercenary sat across from the other, still grinning; he’ll liekly have to keep watch and make sure Sorey doesn’t do anything else to embarrass himself.
“That, my friend, is what happens when ya drink more than you can handle...”

To think that such question would ever be posed at Sorey of all people was near unthinkable, both by the boy in question and most – if not all – of those who knew him. He never so much as touched alcohol and barely knew what effects it had on the human body, let alone tasted it in any amount.
That was, until that day when, apparently, the innkeeper thought it best to serve the group beverages that turned out not to be soft drinks. Now that the Shepherd thought about it, it did taste kinda funny; to be quite honest, it was sort of gross, and why he kept drinking it was beyond him. In any case, his Seraphim friends scattered to do what they pleased at the moment, Sorey was finding it oddly difficult to keep himself upright. His vision wasn’t exactly focused, and neither was his mind, if he were to be quite honest. He could feel his face was warm, so maybe he caught some kind of bug and was now running a fever…?
But then Lucas approached him, an odd expression on his face as he posed the aforementioned question, rendering the teen even more confused than he already was.
“Uuuuuhhh…” he replied, finding it more than a touch daunting to form a sentence. “…Ooooooh!” he slammed a fist into his open palm in a gesture of realization. “That’s what this is! …Uh-oh…”
The Seraph was somewhat intently listening to the conversation between the rest of their group, however Sorey's oddly slurred voice caused his attention to be directed elsewhere—seeing that Lucas approached him, he curiously stepped towards the two before noticing the problem. It was evident that the brunet was falling weak to his drink; his stance somewhat sluggish, cheeks suspiciously flushed. " Hey, Sorey— " Mikleo's hand sets upon his shoulder in concern, though his suspicions are confirmed with not only his stance, but his expression. " —wait, did you drink what the innkeepers gave you?! You know, that wasn't the usual drink... " A sigh escapes his lips, almost exasperated with how gullible he was. The Seraph didn't drink it himself after noticing it wasn't a typical beverage—but was Sorey really unable to tell that it was something he shouldn't have finished, at the very least...?
@shepherdofelysia liked for a starter!
“Oh, Sorey. Were you going somewhere?” The earth seraph appeared beside the shepherd, a little curious.

“Sorey-san, it's getting late, so you better make like a shepherd, and get the flock out of here... please.”
"C'mon, smile! I'll tickle you if I have to!" { in which Sorey has trained this on Mikleo for years so surely it must also work on Lailah! }
Best Friend Starters!
“Eh?! Sorey-san, I don’t think this is necessary, you know. A good joke, and I will surely laugh and smile-can you please stop approaching me with your hands looking so threatening? Do not waggle your fingers at me, please... SOREY-SAN!!”Thus a squealing Lailah trying to escape the tickle menace, to no avail. She finally understood Mikleo, but she did laugh and smile thanks to that, forgetting her previous uncomfortable thoughts.
