       A cruel retort sat numbly on his tongue, a bitter regret that was sure    to come to light if he spoke the words aloud. Even now, with how darkened    that soul had become, it still yearned for what was familiar. Her voice was    like bells, chiming with a ring that school children loved to hear. Rose had    always been the strongest, the Shepherd’s admiration of the young woman    second to none.

    Yet still– -                                              It was better if you didn’t…

    He takes a step back at her advance, keeping that distance he’d set in the   beginning. Already once had he seen her limp in his arms, a fate delivered   by himself alone. The fallen savior had closed off his heart, refusing to repeat the act.

       ❝… Where I’ve been is a place you shall never go.     What happened…? Ha, it’s better if you keep your ignorance, Rose.❞

      A hand reached up to place at a spot on the side of her neck,        a troubled look very clear on her face. With his step back, she        responded with another step forward. She didn’t care how long        this would go for, she would keep trying to advance -- to get         closer. She had to make sure what she was seeing was real,        she wanted him to be by her side again. He helped her, he         was the reason she was able to do what she could. To see        Seraphs, and no longer be afraid of them. To pull out an inner        power she didn’t even know she had. To see the greater good        in people she didn’t even know existed. 

                                        “ And why not? Is it such a terrible place                                           that you can’t even explain to your FRIEND                                           where it is? That you can’t explain to me or                                           TRUST me enough? Have I done something                                           to displace that trust? TELL ME, Sorey. ”

“Rose! No. Don’t!”

Why did his bad feeling have to come true? He had an inkling this room was bad news after seeing the barrenness and dead end corridor.

With a whoosh, the floor panel underneath Sorey opened. Only his quick reflexes and ruin danger sense allowed him to save himself by clinging on the edge.

“Oof. Little help here would be great!”

                                      “ Oops. ”

      The assassin leaned over the empty hole in the floor, staring        down at the Shepherd with an apologetic smile. She knelt down,        hands grasping at his arms to help pull him up from his eminent         doom, releasing his arms once she knew he was safely on solid        ground.

                                     “ At least we know what the button does? ”

“ You have to plan before approach them! This is similar to your Assassination missions!”

He growled , released the Hellion and cast a spell. Rose was always ready for action , while Dezel used to always approach with a plan before fight, or at least strategies. But he admired that part of her, she was always so spontaneous and confident about her abilities….

“Vengeant Fangs!”

      She gave a visible frown, aiming a kick at the Hellion to get it         out of her way, as he it had begun to approach her. Luckily, it        didn’t seem all that big. Another slash of her dagger, before she        dodged out of the way for Dezel’s arte to get a better shot.

                                     “ I don’t see how these are anything like my                                         assassination missions! ”

I’m not feeling so good tonight, so I probably won’t be on much. I’ll probably listen to a little music and try to get some sleep. My stomach is killing me tonight and I have a little idea as to why. So maybe some sleep will help me.

And there she goes, ready to kick ass before think in a way to approach the Hellion before them. Huffing he tied the monster with his pendulums , to allow Rose to attack it quickly and hurt him a lot.

“ What are you doing!Be careful!”

                                   “ I’m fighting the Hellion! What’s it look                                       like? ”

      She gave the Hellion a good couple of slashes, before she        flipped back to look at Dezel. She didn’t really see anything        wrong with jumping into the fight, and taking the advantage over        the enemy. She gave a small huff, before she swung one of her         daggers in a slash once more.
