i always imagined Male Shepard and Jack being that pair as kids when people told shepard that men weren't allowed to cry Jack get pissed and punch them in the face. and jack would let shepard cry his little blue eyes out. and jack would be like 'wtf? why am i bothering with this weaklin? but but not carying anyway, even though it gets her hide tanned every single time by her achoolic Mother. In fact, even years later Shepard never finds out that Jack got hit a lot for defending him
