why is every piece of horde technology made of papier mache
And that's where Horde Prime failed, miserably.
Take if from someone currently living under an authoritarian regime, most of them deliberately try to create division. They'd hit you with shit constantly until you're too drained to care anymore, and then you're squarely under their thumb.
Horde Prime definitely succeeded in making himself seem untouchable, but he never broke their spirits, not fully. He sees spirit as something that needs to be purged along with everything else, when really it's the biggest threat to him.
Omg, Adora is already thinking about saving Catra. IT'S TOO LATE!
Good job with the sound effects, Swift Wind xD
ADORA: So, I want to save my lesbian cat partner. GLIMMER: Fine, but only if we can threesome. ADORA: DEAL!
I have to say.
The writing this episode has been INCREDIBLE!
It's been a while since the hero side of the story has been this good. Usually it's Catra and Glimmer having the real conversation while everyone else is being goofy as fuck and like, Adora is learning to rely on other people when everyone should just get off her shit about not being She-Ra.
It's as if Glimmer rejoining the cast injected a much needed humanity into the story and I'm all here for it.
BTW, those reservations about watching She-Ra again? Long gone! You all have me for the long haul!
