Magnus felt himself shiver for a few seconds at the deep rumble before turning and looking up. “Just passing through.” He kept his voice smooth and monotone as he answered. He watched as the man nodded once before raking his gaze over Magnus’s slim form.
“I’m Sheriff Alexander Lightwood.” The man tipped his hat towards him once. “If you need anything.”
