The day Cowboy went missing his owner was scheduled to go on a cruise she lost all that money for the trip to stay home and look for her dog. She drove 1000s of miles looking for him going on every lead possible and even flew to several different states. When they took Cowboy they destroyed an entire family and broke a little girls heart.
