I love how dark your edits are! What do you use to make them look like that?

there's different ways. you can

increase contrast

selective colour > select "colors: black" in the drop down menu > adjust the "black" to about +5~10? 

add a layer of solid black and then change the blending mode to color burn and then adjust the opacity 

(i use photoshop cs6 btw)
