✧ 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐃 ✧
𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜.𝐩𝐬𝐝 — similar example — this is one psd that you shouldn’t have to alter much, it’ll depend on how dark/light the footage is. anything with natural light should work completely fine.
𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬.𝐩𝐬𝐝 — similar example — does what it says on the tin. works best with gifs that already have some blue in them, this just brings it out. alter the shade of blue using the selective colour layers, you can even change it enough to become purple or green without much editing. layer to alter: selective colour.
𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝟏&𝟐.𝐩𝐬𝐝 — s. example 1 / s. example 2 — okay so live stage colouring is slightly different to a lot of normal footage. it’s likely you’ll have to make blacks blacker and change the colour balance layers to even out colours from the lighting. livestage1.psd should work on most gifs, livestage2.psd evens out yellow lights a little, but again these will have to be altered almost definitely as each live stage will require completely different settings. layers to alter: colour balance + levels.
𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞.𝐩𝐬𝐝 — similar example — again pretty standard, a basic psd that will (hopefully) change any blues to purple without the added vibrancy of vibrantblues.psd. layer to alter: selective colour.
𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲.𝐩𝐬𝐝 — similar example — this is a more fun psd, it’ll desaturate every colour apart from red tones. this will work immediately without the need for alterations for some gifs but for other it may completely removed skin tone all together. to rectify this there’s a few options; 1. use the hue & saturation layer and add the yellow tones back in, if it’s a gif without any yellow elsewhere this will be all you need to do. 2. if the first way doesn’t work try going into the selective colour layers and altering yellow tones back in that way. layers to alter: hue & saturation + selective colour.
