Hello! I rewatched the special today and I still don't unterstand what Sherlock wanted to achieve by digging up that grave in his dream. Do you have an explanation, maybe?

someone already said this much more eloquently as a tag on a gif set, which I will now quote:  “#s3 killed dfp sherlock but the special gave him a burial and put john’s the best on its tombstone”  

in a nightmare where John deserts him when he needs him the most, Sherlock tries to dig up his DFP persona which he had always used as his armour before but he can’t find what he was looking for, i.e. it never existed at all

Oh, no, you’re fine, NSFR actually means “Not Safe For Ramadan”, which hasn’t started yet, but I’m trying to get myself in the habit of tagging the necessary things ahead of time. And I was writing balletlock in that picture!
