Got a Surprise Today!
I got a heck of a surprise today; since my birthday is two weeks away, maybe I could call it an early birthday gift. I sent the Sherry Lynn (aka the voice actress for Sasami in Tenchi Myuo! and Pretty Sammy) an email with my poem “The Beautiful Yet Mysterious: Sasam” and she said she loved it and thought it was sweet! Boom! Cam’t believe it, and yes, I cannot remove my jaw from the floor right now; I’m totally star struck, and am in awe right now. I have yet to reply back to her response, but I guess it’s probably best to keep it short and sweet. But holy cow! I’ll definitely be holding onto this email for a long time.
*Author’s note* About a week later, I commented on a post oh Sherry’s facebook and told her I was the author of that poem and she frickin SHARED it!!! Woohooo!
