In June 2024 for ILD we had a picnic. Revolutionary!

I had planned for a lovely garden full of flowers, but it was cold, windy, and raining. So we went to my backup, which was an indoor "garden" at a mall. After we ate we danced like mad people for a music video. I'm certain we traumatised the locals.

In June our comm went to the local zoological institute for ILD. My partner volunteers there and we frequent it in our free time so I'm a bit of an unofficial tour guide and know a lot of the animals' names 😅

Between the endless poplar fuzz and my old AP purse flaking and peeling my black dress was a mess so here's pre-meet photos.

I went to a small Japanese culture convention in a nearby city on October 1. Some friends were hosting a Lolita 101 panel and I wanted to visit them finally instead of them making the drive to visit us. Their panel was lovely, the con was small but very cute, and I bought a lot of mothman merchandise. I wore my absolute unit of a petticoat, which BtSSB Sheryl handles well.

July 2022 we had a foray to a Japanese pancake house. I love soufflé pancakes. I started making soufflé omelettes last year so i think I can appreciate them more than I may have before I had to hand-whip those egg whites myself.
