In December 2024 a small number (3) of us went to a bougie restaraunt for ILD.

The food was good, but almost all of my photos of the space turned out blurry somehow.

So...I did this for the loliday but internet and tumblr hates me and din’t let me uppload it on the day (first saturday of June). But wellp I’ll publish it anyways~ (=7=)/

Well at last and after so many years I finally have a proper full body picture of my coordinate to show. XD

The organizers of the event (the classic tea room) took pictures, yay.

Headdress: Cats and bunny (local indie brand)

Blouse: H&M (there was this day that I ended at this huge sale which took out ours of making line but the blouse was like less than 10 bucks and has been my most reliable blouse for lolita so far, mostly because I haven’t been able to find another as practical because I am both a broke bitch and too fat for regular sizes)

Skirt: Haenuli. I love it so much guys, you have no idea.

Tights: Torrid (I need more, most are broke already D: but same issue, too fat for regular sizes and there is no torrid in Mexico)

Everything else is offbrand. Rings are real silver, because if you know where to look you can get this stuff way cheaper than brand jewelry. <3 And if I don’t have enough silver to kill a werewolf on my body then I am not happy.

Sigh... my petticoats are dead... dead as my soul T.T

For Winter ILD 2023 we went for afternoon tea at another bougie restaraunt.

The afternoon tea spread was very good, and the historical house the restaraunt is in was lavishly decorated for christmas. It was quite cold (-17°C before windchill) and I regretted wearing only UTK socks though. Fleece bloomers don't save your knees kids.

In June our comm went to the local zoological institute for ILD. My partner volunteers there and we frequent it in our free time so I'm a bit of an unofficial tour guide and know a lot of the animals' names 😅

Between the endless poplar fuzz and my old AP purse flaking and peeling my black dress was a mess so here's pre-meet photos.

In June 2020 we had our ILD as a picnic at a local historical museum garden. They have a large green-space that is completely public, and beautiful rose and perennial gardens. It was cloudy, and actually rained a little on us, but we all survived mostly unscathed. As it turns out cloudy weather often produces the best lighting for photos.
