Yes, while Garridan’s room wasn’t exactly off-limits he’d never felt the need to show it to anyone. While he wasn’t opposed to the idea of inviting Kiki, he ought to clean up the sewing supplies that lay strewn about on the floor and on his dresser.
Even in his drunken state, the mortician was willing to make an attempt to try and bring Kiki’s fae-designs to life. Estimating the time it’d take was out of the question seeing as he could barely bring himself to keep standing, but nonetheless this arrangement offered future opportunities for the two to enjoy one another’s company.
Curled on his side, Garridan shut his eyes. The evening summer breeze kissed his now-visible face; mask in hand. His keen hearing picked up on the sounds of Kiki navigating to the grass, but by then the vampire couldn’t even think to bring himself up to his feet. Opening a single eye, Garridan watched Kiki plop down beside him in her dress. The black ruffles spotted with the faint shimmer within the darkness was almost ethereal, although if he focused on the faint sparkles for too long he found his vision started to go awry.
Eventually the vampire turned onto his back, resting his arms over his abdomen. The ground felt cool beneath him, light optics low-lidded and gazing above at the endless sky filled with stars. His text conversations with Kasumi came to mind, although in his drunken haze Garridan couldn’t even begin to remember the complexities of pressure and gas, hell he couldn’t even recall most of the names.
“Personalities...?” Covering his mouth, the vampire hiccuped. “S-sorry...uhm...I dunno if I’d wanna be friends with a star.” His face contorted into a confused frown, “I think...w-was it Kasumi? I think it was. It had to be...he knows a lot about space...anyways--he uh...he said somethin’ about...” Blond brows furrowed. “Stars bein’ real hot...and they could kill us! Or w-was it something else?” He dragged his cold palms down his face, his expression relaxing into one of contentment. “I can’t really remember...”
Emitting a small sigh, Garridan turned onto his side once more and lightly wiped at the corner of his eye, smudging some of his eyeliner. It didn’t seem to matter to the vampire seeing as he probably wouldn’t have been able to re-apply much of anything. Looking to Kiki, a drowsy smile traced the blond’s lips.
“I think I wanna name a star Florin...I always like that name...if I ever had kids or--well, that’s impossible but...maybe in another life...Florin is my first pick. What about you? What would...what would you name a star?”
Her brows knit together and a pout forms on her lips. “Wellll it’s not nice to judge someone before meeting them.....theyyy could be dangerous buuuut humans can be just as dangerous....I think starrrrs would be amaaazzzinnng friends!” Her gaze was focused up at the twinkling sky. “I like to think....mmm when they twinkle thaaaat is them speaking....I wonder....what they talk about...”
She slips off her mask and sets it down beside her, glancing over at her friend. She stifles a laugh seeing his eyeliner smeared. “Florin?....interestiiing name...” she frowned a bit when hearing it was impossible to have a child. “Hmmm can vampires not adopt?....” were there maybe supernatural adoption centers? Did vampire children exist? Could they adopt human babies? It wasn’t anything the wiccan had thought of before but now it had her curiosity peaked.
She stared back up at the stars as she was asked what she’d name a star. “Wellll I think I’d name it....Stanislav....that way whenever Stan and I are apart...I can just look up at the night sky and he’ll be there...in a way.....”. A dorky smile appearing on her face at the thought. “Ahhh that sounds cheesy.....mmm maybeeee I would name it....Lunina”
