1. Whats my favorite book? Oh gosh, how do I narrow it down?
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenidies is absolutely amazing. It really took me over and I never stop recommending it to people. It’s such an amazing story that spans so much time! Plus the lead character is intersex and it’s such a refreshing narrative.
The Wicked Years series by Gregory Macguire is really good as well, the third of the series ‘Lion Among Men’ is my favorite. Everyone who is a fan of the musical will be surprised to find much darker tones here, but it encompasses a much bigger story and the retelling of the Oz universe is just great.
The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle is also a beautiful novel, it’s even better if you loved the animated movie. But probably one of my favorite fantasy novels of all time.
I’m also a sucker for The Bridges of Maidson County by Robert James Waller, I can read this book so quick and it’s comforting to me.
Also the Life as We Knew it series by Susan Beth Pfeffer is a really amazing, it’s a great young adult series.It features some great female leads and it doesn’t get bogged down with many other young adult tropes. If you love the Hunger Games, you’ll enjoy this series.
