Central-Taiwan-Changhua County-Shetou-Taiwan Glove Museum

The Taiwan Glove Museum was founded by Mr. Chen Yi-yi, the President of CYY Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. – the only sport glove sewing factory in Taiwan. It is located at Hosiery Industrial Park, Sheshi Road, Shetou Township. Occupying an area of 530ping (1,752m2), it is the only glove theme museum in the world. Integrating the functions of a museum, gallery, and sightseeing factory, it is an all-round park. In the museum, there are diverse exhibitions like a regular museum and the professionalism of a glove factory with artistic creation like a gallery. Planned and operated in the manner of a sightseeing factory, in addition to static and dynamic exhibitions, there are DIY studios, machine classrooms, game rooms for children and more. There is also a “Global Glove Exhibition and Sales Zone”, displaying gloves for different purposes and rare and special gloves in Taiwan. In the museum, there is a “most gigantic glove in the world” with a height of 5.8m, being 256 times of the size of a regular glove. Every stitch of this glove is made by hand. Renowned as the biggest glove in the world, it breaks the record of the largest glove in America with the height of only 2.5m.
