Earlier today, after 14 years, we said goodbye to a part of our family. She turned a family of 4 to a family of 5 and gave us all the love she had. My heart hurts so much. Words cannot describe how much my heart is breaking knowing she is no longer with us. All 3 of us were there next to her until the very end so that she knew she wasn’t alone. Although my heart is heavy with her departure I’m also grateful and happy with the time we had with her. She was there for everything. The good and bad that we faced over the years. She wasn’t just a dog she was part of our family. She watched my brother and I grow into adults, she gave us kisses when she knew we were sad, she made us laugh like no other all the time,protected us, if we were scared she would make sure to be next to us, she was the most loving dog with the biggest heart. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and all the love you gave us over the years. I hope you are no longer in pain and you know how much we love you.
