Sheyang: Spacefaring warm-blooded reptilian species hailing from the planet Yanglin, a tropical world known to outsiders as Tauma's Folly. They possess the ability to spit fire with the aid of the kalack gland, located above the stomach, though that ability becomes less efficient with age. They are heavyset creatures with thick skin and mouths full of sharp teeth. While Sheyangs are omnivorous they prefer meat because it is more efficient for maintaining the kalack gland. They are powerfully built, but are slow and ungainly, and have poor eyesight in brighter locations.

Their society is broken into tribal groups, and they tend to be very blunt and direct in speech. They often have a superiority complex, and are known throughout the Uncharted Territories as 'opportunistic scavengers,' but their greed and physical advantages make them popular as mercenaries.
