Making neopets ocs cuz I’m feeling nostalgic, here is Sheyenne

Main Street False Fronts, Kathryn, North Dakota by Arielle Seibold-Galston Via Flickr: Two of the most stand out buildings on main street were these neat false fronts! I think one must have been a blacksmith or harness shop or some such thing (look at the neat rusting stuff on it!) and I have no idea about the other. The smaller of the two was completely gutted and falling apart. The other may have had some hope yet. Those are some fine, old west lookin' buildings! Don't tear 'em down, Kathryn!

Former Bank, Kathryn North Dakota by Arielle Seibold-Galston Via Flickr: Dad and I were very impressed by the former bank building. The community must have come together to refurbish this beautiful old building! I looked at this place on google earth street view and it was not refurbished when they took the street view photos. Our favorite feature was the old burglar alarm! How cool is that!? And it was not on the building in the old street view photos so maybe it was added after the remodel? It's so cool! Made in Minneapolis apparently. Isn't it all spiffy? I just love what they've done with the place. Dad went around back and found an unlocked door leading to a nice little area with a history of the town displayed as well as bathrooms. Great job with the referb. people of Kathryn! We were impressed.
