Hm. Shibutakurumi roleswap AU where Shibu is the one taking over reality, Takuto is the one who lost his memory, and Rumi is the friend at the diner

Hold on, I LOVE the idea of Takuto gushing over sea creatures that change colors! Can you imagine him going to the aquarium with Rumi and getting excited over the squids and infodumping about them while she simply smiles fondly and thinks "oh, I cannot NOT marry him." And Shibu could come along too to take pictures! And he could buy a surprise souvenir for Takuto :3

Half those pictures are definitely of Takuto staring at the exhibits with those big starry eyes like a little kid because he’s so cute and how can Shibu not capture it! And then Rumi sees Takuto cooing over a lil squid in a tank and she just has a stroke like “not be dramatic or anything but I would die for this adorable man”

As for the surprise souvenir... Shibu and Rumi get him this!

Takuto loves it dearly and thinks it’s SO cute, he keeps it on his desk while he works and it makes him happy :3

The Shirt

A little drabble I did, I wanted to try and test myself to type in under half an hour. Shibusawa's first name is courtesy of @wildcard-rumi

Note: This is based on a little skit I did in my head but felt it was drabble worthy. Also this is implied Shibusawa X Maruki in a Takuren Family AU

Takuto didn't know how he had never noticed the shirt until now. Maybe it was because Ren had been eating earlier. Or maybe because he was still not fully awake. Either way, he noticed the shirt now.

"Ren...what are you wearing?"

At the question, the teen glanced down at his shirt and jeans.

"Um...clothes?" He raised an eyebrow at his father. 

"No no, I meant specifically," Takuto waved his hand in Ren's general direction. His eyes staring at the phrase on the shirt.

I Ship My Dad With His Best Friend 

Ren knew full well what his father was referring to. He just really wanted to mess with the older male. 

"It’s just a shirt," the teen pulled down the material to fully showcase the phrase. The blush was definitely worth this. Ren had to repress the urge to smirk at his father's frustration.

Takuto felt his cheeks flush red as he rubbed his scalp, pulling at the strands. Judging how Morgana slipped away and he could hear the cat's laughter, this was definitely a prank. There was no other way. Hell Takuto could see the playful sparkle in Ren's eyes despite keeping a neutral expression. 

"Seriously Dad, it's just a shirt." Ren tugged the shirt and ran his hand down the phrase. "It's no big deal, nothing to worry over a simple shirt."

Simple shirt my ass, Takuto kept the comment to himself. He really didn’t want to give Ren anymore ammuntion to tease with.

Ren's phone pinged, causing him to pull out the device. Time to go.

"Sorry Dad, but I have to get going. I'm meeting up with everyone today. See you later! Come on Morgana or I'm leaving you behind!" 

With that Ren turned, causing Takuto to see what he had missed on the back of the shirt.

They're Both Too Oblivious To Admit Their Mutual Pining. 

Takuto barely heard Morgana's protest or Ren's departure as he hid his blushing face in his arms. He's pretty sure Ren heard his muffled scream if the hint of laughter before the apartment door closed was any indication. 

Oh his son was definitely a little shit when he wanted to be.

Bonus:

A few hours later, Takuto was taking a basket of laundry to Ren's room. It was his turn to do laundry so he figured that he'd take care of it for his son. After opening the closet...Takuto was slightly regretting it… 

Inside were a few other shirts similar to the one from this morning. The only consolation was that he wasn't the only victim of the shirts, it looks like Ren got at least one for all of his friends.
