Jack said to Samira, "You don't seem quite yourself."
Samira doesn't jump at Jack's voice. She is far too focused on the coffee pot slowly filling.
"Oh, uh," she does, however, startle slightly when she catches sight of him from the corner of her eye. "I'm... fine." Samira settles on.
It is objectively true. She's fine. Tired, but close enough to fine that it hardly matters. Of course, as if to mock her, her body betrays her with a poorly timed need to sniffle.
