Teaser Nestling on the couch in his apartment, Spencer tries to distract himself from the pain in his bruised wrist and shoulder. How he's been put on forced rest. Shaken but not broken. Restless more so than anything else. As he paints his nails black, he recalls the dull red eyed stare of the monster that had pushed him up against the wall. Not an alive soul, but not an undead one either. A stuck in between creature, or so he assumes from what he saw within from so up close. What he could smell on its stale breath. Horrified by what it had come to do, hurt him… with eyes full of purpose even though its mind was absent. Why him? Is he but a pawn in something larger? Read more on AO3

Shadow on the Wall is here! Are you ready for Vampire Hotch? *g* Summary There is something different about the mischievous and not so common raven that comes to visit Aaron at the BAU office, trying to steal his favourite pen, but what? Aaron can't place why its red eyes seem to look into his soul. Or why his undead vampire heart feels drawn to its cheeky courting of him. Not until Spencer shares with him the truth of what lies beyond the coat of black feathers. Beyond a magic older than life itself. Why them being undead 'merely' spells out the beginning for them as lovers, as soulmates. If only he dares to trust in it. Maybe Aaron has nothing to fear from vampirism or blood? From the predator within? Because the danger lies not within the loss of his humanity, but in the one who'd tried to kill it the day he died to make him this; a vampire. Maybe Aaron ought to turn on the lights in his office, but he's not bothered by how dark it's become at these small hours of the night. His undead eyes merely shift from hazel brown into blood red to adjust. The bullpen is long since empty. His team has gone home to leave their boss be. Silence at last. No distractions as he finishes off on his reports. No one left behind to question why he prefers working at the office over staying awake all night inside of his empty apartment, because here at least the sounds of life and humanity are dimmed. The walls are thick enough to shut out their pulse - that heartbeat - which reminds him of how he's lost his on the day he died. Read more...

Teaser The dark night rain is beating out a steady rhythm on the abandoned warehouse roof when Aaron climbs up the faded, concrete staircase at the far end of the building, up towards the office floors and beyond. Lightning crackles the world outside… and for a moment he can see the vast walls of graffiti, the window panes and the many steal beams that hold the carcass up far too brightly so. Above his head his raven companion calls out as it finds a ledge to sit upon. Not in warning, not yet. Aaron can hear the difference now, even with his hearing dulled around the edges and the rush of need pulsing loud through his cold body. That’s it then... I got completely sucked into a vampire!Hotch universe, pun intended. No getting out, and I am enjoying it WAY too much to pile the angst upon those handsome but weary shoulders of his. Hell, I have created a monster that’s going to be an at least five chapters long story of darkness, bdsm, explicit smut, angst, hurt/comfort and whatnot... or so my notes insist. Yeah, I will have to tag it in kind.  What the hell happened to ‘a oneshot trial out idea’? It grew! Go figure. *facepalms* Ah, yes, and then there is art too. For once it came before the plot and it has shaped a whole new creature in a vampire!unsub who’s bound to kidnap Spencer to take his mystical powers for himself. Hehe. Bring on the hurt and whump, sure why not? Now at least Aaron - desperately in love - will have someone to save, and heal with THE BITE. Now to sit down and write the damned thing that’s already completely there in my mind! (When the the truth is that I am but a thousand words short finishing chapter 1 of 5). Ah yes... minor details...  Teaser (because I can, and therefore I will): But the hollowness in his aching heart of grief can not be filled. Not with blood, and not with the life it lost; his. When the world is asleep while he can't rest, Aaron is haunted by the growing awareness of the monster inside of him. More so than before he can sense how fragile humans are. How much weaker than what he is forced to be. Veins so easily ripped open by someone stronger, like his had been. The painful imprint from the sharp fangs of his sire are forever left behind on his neck, below his shirt collar, as the most powerful reminder of his lost humanity. Of why he lives in hiding... because if the team knew about the monster in their midst?

Teaser His body is aching all over, but when Spencer tries to move, he fast learns why he can't. Why he should not even open his eyes. Not yet. For there are hemp ropes woven into a solid pattern of a shibari type harness to keep his chest and spine locked tight onto a hard, wooden surface. A table maybe? His raised arms and spread out legs too can't be moved at his will, well… no more than an inch anyway, because they too are covered by rope to be bound tight. He's well trapped. Half naked still, for all that covers his flesh other than the course rope is the half buttoned up shirt he'd borrowed from Aaron. Fuck, but his modesty isn't kept. Rather is he held put on a vulnerable display to and by whoever had snatched him from his home.  Read more on AO3

Excuse my 18+/adult rambling about my WIP... *blinks* Because hell, Spencer has come up a little darker and hornier than I’d expected to write today. How?! Not that I don’t approve... quite the opposite... but yeah, there you go. Someone has the hots for vampire!Hotch. Hehe. And who can blame him for wanting to be dominated by that much power?
