Hybrid AUs - I just didn't classify fics in the hybrid aus if they're the shifter type or the non-shifting hybrids sorry if you need to check each fic. You can also try the list of authors I recommended that focus on hybrid fics (they usually have shifter types)
I hope these lists will help for now. But I realize there are other shifter types (like mythical creatures and I recommend the magnificent Book of Beasts by @httpjeon!)

i know this might sound a little confusing but what does shifter au mean? tHANKS!!
a shifter au is an alternate universe where the characters have the ability to shapeshift - different authors interpret this differently with multiple animals or only one.
Like the animals that you chose for the members are so suiting, I just? Ugh you kill me girl
basically i love to fight against the current so i ended up with some very different animals compared to other shifter aus. my friend helped me out cus i made a long ass list and then researching animal qualities and being like damn this is literally them. and thats how i ended up killing you ;)
(including one for the werewolf until a full bio, still haven’t made one for the canon one I have lol)
