Merick just crouches down, sitting next to the being. he takes off his scarf, holding it in his hand he uses the other to pet her back, as a means to comfort

Niv seems traumatized and is unable to act or answer

Serena @ Niv: "Um, excuse me... are you okay? You seem a bit out of it. May I offer some assistance?"

“Thank you for the offer. I really appreciate it.” 

It seems as if Niv has calmed down a bit from the trauma from earlier.
