Briza@Kass: "What's your deal with beating up a kid? Don't you want to beat up a Hydreigon or get some Deino from Melemele island or something? That kid ain't gonna give a challenge to a big guy like you. You're wasting your time and energy on something better."
Headcanon-Guzma wanted a Z-necklace when in Team Skull for extra bling, but those kinds of z-rings never came in that shape.
Headcanon Day
Oh this is an interesting one! ….I’m probably going to say that a million times lmao
Is a Z necklace an anime thing or something you came up with? Because if I’m being entirely honest, I don’t have the patience to keep up with the anime like I should. If we get Guzma hinted or teased, I’ll probably binge watch it all in like two days, tho. But I don’t know what that is.
He’s still pretty bitter about everything that happened. He doesn’t actually have a Z power ring at the moment and tries not to be resentful to Hala because he keeps saying that the tapu will give him one when he’s ready. That they may never give him one at all and that’s just their will. He visits Tapu Koko’s shrine in the ruins of conflict almost every morning at 7am to pray and beg forgiveness, but the deity has yet to grant him any mercy from its sentence.
He actually destroyed his Z power ring that he was given before he failed his trials out of anger. He’ll occasionally dig out the box he keeps it in out of his closet and bring it with him to appeal to Tapu Koko. He’s left offerings as well, but nothing seems to be working…
and he won’t admit it, but he takes that as a reflection of himself and his abilities. He’s very self-conscious and while he rarely admits it through all that feigned confidence and bravado, he takes it to heart that he’s not being allowed a second chance. He feels like he really truly failed and now that he’s making an effort to turn things around and be better, he’s starting to admit how much it really means to him and how much he cares and has care all along despite what he’s said.
Whew! I hope that wasn’t too rambly for ya! I got a little sidetracked with that one, but inspired! Thanks a bunch for the question!!
Team Skull Briza@Lucifer: "Can I fight you and your trio please? I want to overthrow the legends themselves and overthrow the inconsistent laws in society with power, wits, and status."
@wanttoshine @spacial-rxnd
“I mean… If you wish to perish. Sure. Here we can even do a three versus six.”
“Oh Sister! Brother! We have a mortal who wishes to challenge us! And even die trying!”
Madeline: “I don’t know who this ‘Pokedex’ is but I’m pretty sure they’re spreading lies. There’s a berry tree right outside the cave, if we need something to eat we just go there. Not too complicated really.”
Miguel: “A-a-and last I ch-checked, w-we don’t let anyone into the cave.”
Giagon@Taal: "It's weird...were you always friends with the blue deer lady? Some legends don't like their opposites...what made them upset?"
“Me and Ness? Oh Father, no. We used to be at each other’s throats all that time. To be honest, back in the day I was an asshole, and I deserved some serious come-upance and she delivered. However karma bit her in the ass and the human she deemed worthy of immortality, turned out to be a psychopath. The Man in White, founder and leader of the Puritarian Front, turned out to be worse than me. So in the intrest of keeping the planet from falling to pieces, we put aside our differences and we teamed up. Now it’s just normal for us to get along...Most of the time. Siblings to quarrel every once in awhile after-all.”
Briza: "You're talking to a tree. Is there a Phantump or Trevenant I'm missing? Is there a Darkrai? What are the details, girl? I want to get in on the trauma action here! I haven't had any since my mother was murdered."
Niv seems traumatized and is unable to act or answer
...”but I can tell you about my tribe and the chief.”
The leader of the Nemua Tribe i-is Chief Makai, and he’s really great! Everyone in the t-tribe loves him. He’s probably the smartest Pokemon I’ve ever m-met, he knows everyone’s name and t-tries to spend some time with everyone to learn about them, and he’s really, really strong. And he’s a hero! He even saved M-Mother’s life back when she was my age!”
“B-but along with the chief, he also has some of his family and other Primarina in the tribe to help him make decisions on stuff. Th-that’s kind of a new thing. It used to be that the chief m-made all the decisions, but a lot of really bad stuff happened a long time ago, and after the Fall, my ancestors decided to change that. Even Chief Makai n-never believed in giving one Pokemon that much power.”
“Aside f-from them, everyone else more or less has the same role d-depending on gender. The male Primarina are w-warriors that protect the Tribe, while the female Primarina help r-raise the Popplio and Brionne - you know, play with them, gather food, t-teach them how to catch fish and sing and all that. The males d-don’t really have anything to do with the Popplio and Brionne except during the festivals or wh-when one is in danger.” Leilani chuckles nervously. “That’s happened to Kai and m-me a few times, whenever he wanted to go on an adventure.”
“A-and as for how the chief is chosen, it’s passed down from Akua, the founder of the Nemuan Tribe. The chief cane be either male or female and is a-always the oldest child, because the oldest child is the one that gets most of Akua’s power to protect the tribe. But l-like I said, Chief Makai never believed that one Pokemon should possess that much power, so he only used it wh-when he absolutely needed to.”
