Señores, Jesucristo, entiendo que quieran saber quién fue la madre de nuestros hermanos favoritos, pero de verdad necesito sacar esto de mi pecho.
El hecho de que Hanzo y Genji puedan invocar dragones no necesariamente significa que su madre también pudo.
Verán, en la cinemática "Dragons", Hanzo dijo esto:
"Solo un Shimada puede controlar a los dragones."

The fact that Hanzo and Genji can summon dragons does not necessarily mean that she could as well.
You see, in the "Dragons" cinematic, Hanzo said this:
"Only a Shimada can control the dragons"
Lo más probable es que Hanzo se refiriera a que solo Shimadas de sangre pueden invocar dragones, sangre de la familia de Maestros Shimada, su sangre. Esposos y esposas de los maestros del Clan Shimada no obtendrían un dragón por casarse con ellos.
La única forma en la que su madre hubiera podido tener este poder, sería que fuera ella la Shimada de sangre que le pasó el poder a sus hijos, haciendo que Sojiro, su esposo, solo fuera un hombre común y corriente, que, por alguna razón, (o el viejo sexismo Yakuza, o la muerte de la madre) se convirtió en el maestro del Clan Shimada.
Que no creo que sea el caso porque Sojiro es el único de los padres que apenas conocemos, lo más probable es que sea él, el Shimada de sangre que le pasó el poder a Hanzo y a Genji, (pero más a Hanzo, por ser el heredero directo)
Teniendo todo esto en cuenta, la idea de que ambos padres tuvieran el poder implicaría que tanto Hanzo como Genji son producto de INCESTO.

Hanzo most likely meant that only Shimadas of blood could summon and control a spirit dragon, blood of the Shimada Clan's master family, his blood. Husbands and wives of the Shimada Clan's masters would not get a dragon just because they married them.
The only way their mother could have this power, would be that she was actually, the Shimada of blood that passed the power to her children, making Sojiro, her husband, only a regular man, who, for some reason, (or the old Yakuza's sexism, or her death) became the master of the Shimada Clan.
Which I don't think it's the case, because Sojiro is the only parent we barely know about, he is most likely the Shimada of blood that passed the power to Hanzo and Genji (but mostly Hanzo, for being the direct heir)
Taking all of this into account, the idea that both parents had that power, would imply that both Hanzo and Genji are product of INCEST.
