“We both have a lot of things to do, Yoon.”
It’s not the first time that she saw him being like this, it’s probably the third or the fourth ever since they got together. If it ever happens, whenever someone’s too affectionate enough to be that possessive or anything that is related to that matter, it would be Miyoung, as she would often find herself in his captive, arms around her waist, her head on his chest. But in this moment that she wants to remember in her head for a very long time, it’s the opposite, it’s him who has his head on her shoulder, and his arms wrapped around her body as if to try and distract her one more time, which is somewhat cute and a little annoying as she’s trying to finish the spring collection that she would present to the class the next week, and she still has a little to four more designs to go.
Miyoung tries not to squirm, but the hold around her body tells her the otherwise as she was kept restrained, her fingers were the only movable part as she was pressed against his chest once again, heaving off a laugh yet leaning on a frustrated note. “If I fail this class, I am going to blame you, and I am going to punish you for that!” she clicks her tongue, reaching up to nudge his head with her palm and to prod his forehead, but as always, she couldn’t help but to lean against him and the hold with the warmth that he provides. It’s soothing, it feels like home.
“You have ten minutes, okay? I really need to finish this, Yoon, and I thought you brought some of your things here so we can do work together? Why did you lie to me!” She laughs, peering forward to let the tip of her nose gaze along his cheek, soft and smooth, as always. “Hmm.”
Jung Yoonoh and the word clingy should not be used in the same sentence, simple as that..
However, the idea made him laugh, for some odd reason. It was merely a faint chuckle earned from him, nothing that could be defined as uncourteous or rude. Yoonoh found this side of him to be quite humorous because this was not a side of him that he would normally publicize for others to see. Not even his beloved girlfriend whom he loved and cherished deeply. He thinks it’s as embarrassing as it is downright degrading ( to a certain degree ). And yet, tonight was a completely different story. Not only has Miyoung been working diligently hard, he has, too. On top of that, he was feeling abnormally affectionate and needy; desperate for her attention.
What better way to solve their problems than this? If he distracts her, they’ll both get a break.
With two arms secured tightly around Miyoung’s lithesome frame and the unwillingness to free her from this so-called imprisonment, he turns his head toward her countenance and presses the tip of his nose to her cheek, her mutters, “You’re not going to fail, love. You’re one of the top students at our university. And, if I may add, you’re also Mrs, Hwang’s favorite student. Therefore, you have an upper hand in this one. If not, I’ll have a talk with her. I’m sure she’d be willing to make an exception for you.”
It’s when she says, “Ten minutes,” that he draws her away from her work and pulls her along with him; back pressed to the couch’s cushioned surface, he maneuvers her onto his chest, burying the lower half of his face into the crown of her head. His eyes flutter shut, dark lashes grazing across the porcelain skin underneath. Yoonoh missed this, to say so at the very least. Seems like it’s been weeks since he was last able to hold her like this; with their troubles aside, there was no one that would come in the way between them and their relationship. Not his father, not his brother, and not her mother. What more could he ask for than just this? “Hey, Miyoung?” He quietly voices out, lips brushing against her cranium. “I really missed you.”
