-The days turned into weeks, the weeks into months and the months into years. Magnus Bigweld once the CEO of Bigweld Industries and idol of his kind had fallen into despair. It had been years since the initial infection had spread. Years since the first test with the nano-tech had gone horribly wrong. His building was the center site of the initial infection. It only spread from there and hopes of a cure faltered after the first years when his fellow robot scientists all dropped like flies-
-Even after Magnus worked deep into the lonely nights for a cure, but came up with little. All his years of expert engineering failed. His genius level in robotic medicine and mechanical prowess was little to combat what had been named the Chromium Virus. It hit home hardest when he lost both Fanny and Rodney to the sickness having to kill them both with his bare hands. His despair only grew and he began a waiting game to see how long it would take before the beasts he once called fellow bots and friends came for him too-
-The elder robot stood in the conference room a top the highest point of his Industries main building. He was looking out over a dreary gray sky at a broken down and barren city with infected running about below. Once a bright and shining city bustling with robot life now an apocalyptic wasteland of death and destruction. It broke his heart to see what he had created turn into this. To be sucked of it's life and prosperity-
“W-What have I done? It-it wasn’t ready. It was nowhere near ready. Now . . . now they’re gone. All of them. My friends, family, co-workers. Gone like . . . like dust in the wind.”
