The Broken Cogs in Time:
The bot let out a long sigh shaking his head
“This ... this was my fault. I should have been more careful. I should have paid more attention and told him it wasn’t ready.”
Bigweld turned back to Time before reaching for a picture on his desk. He picked it up and looked over it with his sad brown eyes. Clearly something had indeed gone horrible wrong here. Something the bot blamed himself over
“There was an invention. A sort of nano-tech we were working on. My right hand bot Rodney was sure it was ready ... I have my reservations.”
He put the picture back down on his desk upright this time. There was a blue colored bot standing beside the large bot in the photo. They both looked happy and everything was filled with color unlike it was now
“The nano-tech malfunctioned and instead of helping it infected my kind. The virus spread across the city, then the planet. Oh did I try over and over to find a cure, but it was never enough.”
The bot left the tools on his desk seeing the man didn’t wish to be touched. He leaned against his desk looking over to him quirking an eyebrow
“How in the world did you end up here Time?”
