I wavered a lot then. I wondered, “what’s (the point of) living?”, “do I have to quit it all?”. I collapsed, but then there was that Tokyo Dome concert which was our way of saying “let’s deal with this”
If there weren’t a platform for us to honour (JH), it would have been hard on us. We wanted to bid goodbye that way, to his short but splendid youth. Every year when it’s his birthday or anniversary, I want to see him and miss him a lot. If there are new songs which we can’t record together with him, I’d think about how well he’d have done. During practice, he appeared in my dreams a lot. He doesn’t say anything, but he’s seated there during concert meetings. And he’s also by the side during practice.
That made me think, he’s always together with us, it’s always the five of us.
