I'd say exo in general. All the activities that they've done lately keep me going and they give me something to look forward to.

4. Who do you think is an inspiring Kpop Idol?

I really look up to Yixing because he comes off as a genuinely grateful person. I notice the little extra things he does for the fans like simply staying out on stage the longest to say thank you to all the fans during the winter wonderland special.

5. An unpopular opinion about anything:

I read more OC fics than OTP fics. I don't know why really, I just prefer putting myself in the place of the OC I guess, so that's why I hardly every recommend fics to people.

I gave you so many things that meant so much to me. I spent freaking 6 to 7 hours working on my portrait of you for your birthday and all I get back is a "thank you:)" and a facebook post? I spent $60 to go to an amusement park at the last minute when you asked me the day before your birthday to go with you and I was the only one who could go. I always helped you when you procrastinated on your projects because I didn't want you to fail your classes. I watched you cry on countless occasions because you needed someone to talk to and I was always there. I listened to your rants about your opinion even though I didn't agree. I helped you study for tests you knew you needed help on. I hung out with my kpop friends from time to time because I always kept in mind that you are not a fan of it yet I still listened to you fangirl about your alternative groups. I asked you several times if you're really annoyed by me simply mentioning kpop and each time you said "no". And what do I get in return? "You always annoy me with kpop and you ALWAYS talk about it. I've been listening to k-pop for a while now, and I love the music really. But all these revolting comments about dark being ugly, stupid jokes over idols with darker skin [ i.e Kai who doesn't even look darker than the rest of exo], and just insensitivity over all is pissing me off. It's really putting me off, and I'm starting to not even want to be actively involved in the k-pop world. Idols want to go to the US and be popular, but they do this shit. I don't understand.

What's really interesting about their desire to debut in the US is that the same racist ideas some of them carry are mirrored against them once they come here, especially for the boys, but definitely not excluding the girls. The girls are fetishized and the boys are assumed to ugly, "fobby", nerdy Asians and anyone whose different is still too "pretty to be attractive in a manly way" or "feminine". You would think that people who don't want to be discriminated against as minorities would understand that for others, but most minorities who harbor racist biases against blacks don't make that connection either.
