I've always wanted to see a Shinya/Mika fic where the two are getting over their exes (Guren and Yuu respectively) with each other.

Maybe there's drinking involved, maybe there's smut too. Idk, it's up to you, but I would like to see how that would work

The breakup had been amicable. They hadn’t fought, there was no ill will toward each other. Hell, they  even still talked regularly over the phone. Yuu loved telling Mika about the new people he was meeting in those far off places he traveled to, the people he was helping. He always sounded so happy, so at peace with himself.

This is what I was meant to do, Mika. It feels so great to have the chance to do what I always wanted.

Mika grimaces and downs what little remains of his fifth drink, or was it his sixth?

“You’re back.” The smug voice is uncomfortably close, causing the skin on the back of his neck to prickle.

“Fuck off.” Mika says even as Shinya casually takes the bar-stool next to him, their elbows nearly touching. He closes his eyes, memories of a darkened room and the heat of a strong body between his legs fill his mind.

“Now, that’s no way to greet your newest friend.” Shinya says lightly. Mika looks up when the bartender saunters over and places a new drink in front of him and one in front of Shinya.

“My treat.” Shinya smiles, taking a sip of his liquor.

“We aren’t friends.” Mika frowns when he notes the slight slur to his words. He shouldn’t drink anymore, not after what happened last time...and the time before that.

He takes the glass, pondering, before taking a sip, and then another.

“Had another riveting conversation with your precious Yuu?” Shinya’s casual tone irks something inside of Mika. Everything about the man annoys him, from his fake smiles, to his stupid face, and the irritating way he licks the stray drops of alcohol from his lips.

“Has Guren been ignoring your calls?” Mika smirks when the grin falls from Shinya’s mouth.

They stay quiet after that.

Misery sure does love company.

Mika tugs at Shinya’s hair, gripping it tightly between his fingers. The man groans and tightens his hold on Mika’s hips, rolling his own in a way that makes Mika gasp above him.

They fuck with every ounce of strength they have left, panting and moaning in ways they will try to forget about tomorrow morning. Try and fail. Time and time again.

Mika will be able to remember every heated kiss, every thrust that makes him shiver and spasm and see stars behind his eyes.

Shinya won’t be able to forget about the little whimpers that fall from Mika’s swollen lips, the delicious heat of his plaint body, the sultry look in his hazy blue eyes.

Tonight is just as frantic as the first time, but there’s a sense of understanding beneath each shared kiss. This isn’t just fucking, they know too much about each other. Shinya had been there the first night Mika had broken down. Mika had seen Shinya at his lowest. Beneath each scathing word Mika threw at Shinya, or each teasing remark Shinya made, there are feelings neither one wants to acknowledge.

They are probably not going to amount to anything, Mika sure hopes so. One day, realization will hit them, and they will probably never see each other again.

Oh these two! I’m torn between romantic and familial, to be perfectly honest. I like the idea of Shinya and Mika being related in canon, while I love the idea of these two romantically in AU’s. One of my favorite au’s is the doctor!Shinya and nurse!Mika I got a while back. So, yeah, there you have it. I can go both ways with these two, as bizarre as it may be. In all honesty, I doubt they will end up becoming related in the manga, and if they do, well then I am pretty much screwed lmao

Platonic Shinya's/Mika, Shinya's reaction to finding out they are brothers

He’d never let his mind drift toward those memories too often. They were kept safe deep in the dark corners of his mind, patiently waiting for the lonely nights where Shinya allowed himself to think of them. It wasn’t that he missed them. He had nothing to miss from a woman who barely paid him any mind and a man who’d spend his days at the other end of a bottle. 

After, he’d been adopted by the Hiiragi family he’d heard that his parents were expecting again. Unfortunately, or rather with great fortune, he was out of their lives and could easily put his mind at ease over the matter. So what if his neglectful parents had another child? What did it matter to him? The Hiragiis had what they wanted, so surely they would leave his parents and the child alone. All the child would have to worry about was staying away from his father during his drinking time and keeping a polite tone with his mother. It would be fine.

Had he known how wrong he’d been, Shinya might have done all he could to go back for the child.

Shinya stared, eyes wide and mouth slightly parted, as the blond glared back at him, arms shielding an unconscious Yuichirou. He’d refused to believe Guren when he’d hastily explained what he’d found on the child his parents had left behind. His parents had died, the child had been taken in as a test subject for the Seraph project until the vampires resurfaced, after that they’d lost track of the child. It wasn’t after Yuichirou spoke to Guren about a boy he’d met, a boy with unusually bright eyes and golden hair that the pieces began to form again. Suspicion turned to affirmation when Guren had researched further, learning the name of the boy. 

Mikaela Shindo.

Shinoa was facing him now, blocking his view of Mikaela. She spoke, making it clear that her squad were not going to allow anyone to harm the blond vampire. 

Shinya felt his arms and legs go weak, his weapon nearly clattering to the ground. 

Shinoa and Mikaela exchanged words, and then Mikaela was off with Yuichirou in his arms. However, right before he disappeared, Shinya found blue eyes meet his own. He found curiosity shine back at him before Mikaela turned and ran from the scene. 

“I won’t let you go after them.” Shinoa’s voice pulled him back. Shinya wasn’t sure whether he should laugh or let the swirling emotion in his chest out with a jagged cry. He decided on neither. The grip on his weapon tightened as he turned to face the rest of his comrades, jaw set. 

He would do what he should have done all those years ago. He would protect the child who’d fallen to a worst fate than he, and perhaps one day, he would be able to approach Mikaela as his older brother and apologize for not being there when he needed him.

So yeah shinmika is adorbs now let's look at the dar side >;) ... mika may love shinya but honestly sometimes he can't but feel betrayed by the other man. How dare he be so tall & Mika can get things of the shelf himself (shinya'' being sweet) but now mika's got a lil stool with kisses & hearts on them to help him) & the worst's when Mika tries to argue, he always turns round to shinya & smacks into his chest. Shinya calms him but secretly loves it s like a cute angry kitten
