I cannot belive Mahiru didnt mentioned Shinoa while she was dying and Shinoa didnt have a reaction. Family is the core theme of Owari no seraph, yet author forgets the sisterhood between two major female character of the serie. Mahiru is the one who hurts Shinoa the most but she is also the one who loved her the most. Thats what makes their sisterhood so beatifully tragic.

This moment shouldve been about them, about their sisterhood. With its bad with its worse, it shouldve focused on Shinoa she litteraly lost Shinya, Guren and Mahiru (people who were somehow important in her childhood, specially Mahiru) the same day this was supposed to be her moment. About her feelings. I am not against other characters having their own moments ofc but i am so sick of this stupid mangas male gaze.

Rip Hiiragi sisters, you deserved to be in a better manga.

(Also i wished Mahiru was more angry, everything she had done, sacrificed was for nothing. Cas16 Mahiru would have a breakdown. Let woman be angry)

Not the mahiru and Shinoa love talk again pls 😭 ok this was expected tho so im not surprised, im actually happy that it was just a short dialogue

OK this is destroying me actually 😭😭😭😭 SHINOA’S FACE AHHHHH

“I’ve got to go. Guren and Shinya are waiting” Shinya mention!!! But also shinoa’s “PLEASE DON’T GO!!” is so sad omg.

“I thought about it when I saw Liutenant and my sister die, resurrecting people is something that shouldn’t be done.” Finally someone speaks with some sense left in them in ons,,, ofc it’s Shinoa. Also I can’t believe im seeing a conflict in Shinoa squad after all these years, I thought Kagami discarded them before this chapter lol finally some proper screen time for them…

I think this was a pretty good chapter for ons standarts, I’m so glad we got more scenes from kimizuki yoichi and mitsuba even tho i didnt add them in the post.

Also one small note: Shinoa didn’t even mention shinya dying to her squad lol they just talked about Guren and Mahiru,,,, im not surprised but its kinda sad that we’ll probably never see them react to their death again (i mean even in this chapter other than Shinoa no one really gaf about their deaths lol)
