D&D!AU: Bungou Stray Dogs [Shin Soukoku]
Dungeons & Dragons AU
As interpreted by @inkysatell

"Eldritch Claws"
Are they partners? Or are they foes? Why must they bicker? When they as a team, flicker?
No one knows for certain, for these two met under the least expected circumstances: Under a cave where one was trapped by ghostly beasts, and the other seeking for what lies beneath the tavern.
One refused to stick together, while the other begged to work as a team. And from their quarreling... Oh no! A group of ghastly monsters appeared!
What will they do?
What choices will be made?
Will they fight, or will they hide?
Will they cooperate? Or will they forfeit?
What does the future hold?!
That...
is up to the players.
WELCOME TO D&D!

Nakajima Atsushi
Race: Tabaxi
Cat humanoids. They have the agility of a cat, but the intelligence of a common humanoid. Their alignment is usually chaotic, but rarely evil. They live as long as humans, and their size is Medium (6 to 7 feet tall).
Class: Monk
Proficient in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. They don't typically use weapons, but they can if they were trained to. They usually come from temples, and they typically have a strong reason as to why they became adventurers.
-
Ryuunosuke Akutagawa
Race: Tiefling
Devil humanoid. They may not be 100% devil, but their alignment usually towards chaotic (and for the most part they are likelier to turn evil). They live a little longer than humans, and their size is medium (Same range as humans).
Class: Warlock
Granted they have magical powers, they are all borrowed from their patron (Or the one they signed a pact with and serve). For receiving most magical spells, the 'Fiend' patron will be your best option. In this case, Ryuu's Fiend patron is Rashoumon.

Alright, so for context: This is actually made for a fanzine in one of my Discord servers. Their theme was games. And so I thought: why not indulge?
This is one of the first full-fledged illustrations I've made with a legitimate background. So I feel that I'm still quite rusty in colouring especially. (If you have any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, go ahead and comment!)
Furthermore, I've had this D&D!AU idea stuck in my head for AGES! I just wanted to relive the fun of sharing D&D with all of you~
In all honesty I can't really stick to just one race and class in the game itself now, can I? I can't! It's too enticing!
And that is exactly why I made their races different than a human. Their classes? It's mostly based from what we currently know and assume from their abilities!
P.S: I'm still relatively new as a Dungeon Master, especially when it comes to choosing what mosnters to use for my players. And the same goes with combat in general: What level are my players? What challenge rating of monsters can my players defeat? And how much do I want to torture my players?
You read that right. Torture.
I hope you lot enjoy this piece! It's really just me caving in to my interests~

Okay but fr guys the Twitter side of this fandom is definitely the worst of them... (And by that I mean horniest 😂)
It felt weird in the beginning.
He still was surrounded by blood and destruction. Of course, he was, it was their job to wipe out the small organization that thought themselves strong enough to challenge the port mafia. Black Lizard didn’t have a mercy policy. Normally he didn’t either. But the man tigers words still rang in his ears. What a foolish promise he made. Still, he didn’t want to break it, no matter strange it was. It was his chance, his only chance to prove his strength his worth to his former mentor. So he tore down walls opening a path for his assassins and blocking it for those that tried to escape. It was a fine line between taking a life and just laying down the groundwork but it had to count for something…right?
He tried, at least he tried.

A small take on how the promise of chapter 51.75 unfolds
a cuddly beast
There’s a tiger in front of his flat. This…this has to be a bad joke. The day hasn’t been good so far, and …he’s still shaking, falling apart with emotions he can’t quite put a name too. “I know you can control it. Leave.” Akutagawa’s not in the mood for a fight, and the tiger is far from the menacing beast it once was. It reminds him of a lost puppy.
When he unlocks the door the animal pushes in with no regard for privacy or boundaries. “Didn’t I tell you to leave?!” He feels silly, talking to an animal like that. But even with the moon shining through his windows, Nakajima should have control over his ability now. The big cat in his living room seems to disagree.
He thinks about attacking the intruder, but it would ruin his flat and he’s just too tired now. He turns towards his kitchen unit; he needs some tea because he has nothing stronger. Months ago turning his back towards the beast would have meant serious harm...now the tiger approaches, rubbing his body on Akutagawa’s side making him stumble.
If it were a smaller cat he’d think it’s begging for pets but… instinctively he grabs the corner to prevent himself from falling. Actually, he can’t think of any other reason.
