Finally managed to get my photos and scans up! Bit late but they're up! Since we have to design a board game and I'm being an awkward turtle and chose to make a fortune teller/chatterbox instead I designed the templates for them. (The scans for which are still missing for some reason). Anyway that got me thinking about what else I could include in the pack. It's aimed at children and children love toys - so what's better than a paper child? I decided to toy with the idea (get it? no? oh..) and dug through my old files for the templates that I received from the artist Shin Tanaka a couple of years ago....it was super fun but too complicated for children to make =A= I could probably design and make a simplified version paper child toy but it would be too much perhaps. However it was fun and worth exploring the idea! I then finished my 3 main thumbnail sketch ideas for the packaging cover and the inside (the scans are missing for those too! :c ) and then sketched a quick mock-up on a cut out template of the final design I'd chosen. Next steps? Plan out and sketch digitally my illustrations for the packaging and design backgrounds!
