Ah, this was a familiar looking place! Rias knew this shrine, and that was something that made her rather excited. Coming back to places she knew was always great, and since she happened to know someone who lived there...
Now all she had to do was find Akane. This could really be a stroke of good luck. After what had happened recently with that fox god Rias had a few questions about gods that she was sure a shrine maiden might know the answers to.

Fumie Nishimura loved being an idol.
She loved singing, she loved dancing, and she loved dressing up. But above all? She loved how happy it made the fans.
The were cheering. They were waving glowsticks. And, under CNBT’s direction, they even sung along to the lyrics like a Western concert. Sure, it was tiring, but everyone was having a great times.
That’s what mattered. The girls had sweat dripping down their faces, but they didn’t miss a beat of dancing, or a single word out of place.
This is what being an idol meant, she was sure of it. Just like she was sure of the reason she was gifted the power to wield High Voltage. To make other people happy!

The crowd was thunderous, and sang as one.
“Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town!”
The applause came.
“Thank you all for coming out here to support us!” the nine girls said in unison, bowing to their crowd, proud of their performance.
The girls dressed into their normal clothes, heading their respective ways home. What a great show! Fumie thought to herself, punching the air in front of her. She didn’t notice there was someone in attendance in the concert nearby...
... Or some rather shady characters in the ally she was about to walk down.

✿ - A pair of translucent green wings bat lightly in the wind as the small figure of a faerie floated through the strange looking city she found herself in. She had been hanging around the outskirts of a nearby forest for a few days when something had distracted her. She had since gotten lost and couldn’t find her way out. Seeing a friendly looking figure, she nodded slightly and decided to ask for directions. Floating down in front of the other, she spoke softly. “Excuse me, do you know the way to the forest?” As if there were only one.

✧ It was impossible. Never again had Nozomi expected to see the familiar curl of soft, red hair around gentle shoulders or that look of faux indifference. But that sharp, violet gaze was unmistakable, so vivid.
If the gods had suddenly decided to use her eyes as their new plaything, Nozomi wasn’t going to have it. She was breathless, jade eyes staring as though the woman before them would disappear with so much as a blink, and, before she knew what she was doing, there was wind on Nozomi’s face and the sound of her feet pounding on the pavement echoed in her ears.

He had wrapped an arm around her shoulders protectively, pulling her petite body closer in a silly attempt for comfort and security.
Maybe it was the anxiety talking, spilling silly nonsense into her mind, or the insecurity that had plagued everyone in recent events, as nobody believed they were deserving of the treasures given to them.
“You may be a Shinki… But at the end of the day, daughter trumps any role you are given.” Yato voiced softly, pulling Akane into a hug.
