I was recently contacted by a representative from Shy Leaf.  The rep was wondering if I’d be interested in reviewing this argan oil. I, of course, said yes. I’ve reviewed a few other shiny leaf products you view the videos here and here

I’d never used argan oil before so I was looking forward to trying this product. I had heard great things about argan oil in the past. The product arrived two weeks ago. I started to use it that night. I was in love with it after the first use. 

It’s a lightweight oil that can be used alone or in combination with another product. The bottle instructions give you suggested uses. some of the uses can be to treat sunburn, treat joint pain, and treat scars just to name a few. I’d been using the oil alone on my skin. I also used it on my hair. 

I found that using it after a shower was best. The oil left my legs looking shiny and moisturized.  I used a few pumps to have enough to coat my legs and feet. The oil absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or tacky. It worked wonders on my dry elbows.

I also tried it on my dry ends. I coated them with a small amount of oil and ran my fingers through it. I’ve seen a big difference. My ends are softer and healthier looking. 

The argan oil has a unique scent I can’t quite put my finger on. To me, it’s sort of a fruity and woody mix. The scent isn’t overpowering nor is it heavy. It dissipates quickly after you apply the oil to your skin. 

The one thing also liked about the bottle is that it offers a pump head. It makes for easy dispensing and control. 

All in all, I loved this product. I didn’t have any adverse skin issue nor did I have any other side effects.
