Shion opened an eye, and closed it back immediatly. Since when did the sun became that shiny and bright ? And since when air became so hot and heavy. He felt like his head were crashing down. Was he... sick ?
Nonsense, Shion the Aries Saint is never sick.
And he had a speech to do, in front of Athena, and the Gold Saints. He definitively couldn't be sick now. not at all.
Shion blindlessly got up and tried to find his way, eyes close through his room, he almost immediatly hit the wardrobe and the ton of paper tha accumulated on the top of it fell in a huge noise.
Dohko broke down in the room after he heard the noise to find the Pope, just wearing his pajama pants, eyes closed, grabbing the wardrobe like he was about to fall and a sea of paper lying down on the floor.
"Shion, what happened ? Did you hit the wardrobe ?" asked the Libra Saint, slidding his arm around his friend's waist.
"I-...no...Nothing happened, I just slipped on a piece of paper. I'll be ok-ATCHOO !"
"No, no, no. You're not ok ! You're sick like a dog Shion, go back to bed, I'll take care of everything !" insisted the Libra Saint pushing the blind Aries back to bed.
"No, I can't be sick ! I have an important speech to do and-ATCHOO !"
"An important speech ? would take the risk to make our Goddess sick because of that speech ? Don't be silly, I'll just tell Saori to report the meeting. You don't need to spread your bacterias all over the Sanctuary don't you ? Let's go back to bed." added Dohko as he forcefully tucked Shion in his bed. "I'll be back in a minute, ok ? Don't move." he said as he closed the curtains beofre leaving the room.
Shion sighed deeply then sneezed four times, cursed the flu germs and rolled on his side. Nobody could fight the Libra Saint when he was bringing the sweet friend caring stuff. Dohko quickly came back with a tea set. Shion couldn't smell the sweet chinese aromates with his stucky nose but he knew what it was.
Dohko's magic tea.
The tea that could cure anything, heart-breaking, existencial crisis, the flu, everything ! Dohko only brought it in emergency situations. The Libra Saint poured a cup of dark tea and handed it to his friend with a warm smile. Shion awkwardly smiled back, trying to restrain the nose-dripping he felt coming.
Dohko poured himself a cup while Shion was bringing the cup to his lips, it was still slightly too hot and, even if he still had a pasty month, incredibly tasty. He smiled slightly, then sneezed and spreaded all the warm liquid on his blankets with an acute scream.
Dohko instantly go up and threw the blankets on the floor Then removed his own top to wipe the hot liquid from Shion's chest.
"I'm sorry, I should've been more careful giving you this tea." apologised Dohko.
"No that's me, really. But...Did you really had to remove your shirt ?"
"What ? Don't you like when I take my shirt off ? I thought you liked it ? I used to remove it for you, you know ?" purred the wild Tiger while showing proudly his muscular chest.
"You're so silly Dohko." sighed the pope, trying to hide his hilarity.
"What ? You mean you don't like when I take my shirt off ?!" panicked Dohko realising he was just a perverted exhibitionist for two centuries.
"I like when you remove your clothes, Dohko. It makes me laugh." smiled Shion.
Then the Aries senior started to shiver, without his blanket he was the victim of Winter's breeze. Dohko got up and grabbed some blakets from the wardrobe and threw them at Shion was ended up crawling in a ridicoulously huge amont of blankets.
"D-Dohko !"
"Shion ! Don't worry ! I have everything under control !" babbled the Libra Saint putting some order with the blankets and tucking Shion back to bed. "See, everything went perfectly fine !" smiled the chinese Saint Shion weakly smiled back, since the fever was hitting strong. But Dohko didn't gave up on his friend.
"Don't worry, Shion. I'll coach Ayoros and Saga to make your pope job, they will be to and I'll be managing it ok ? Just rest for a bit, I'll stay with you for now and when you'll fall asleep I'll go and get them."
"Uuuuh~I guess I don't have the choice... I just hope Saga won't do his schizoid thing..."
"Don't worry, I'll be in charge ! Just rest for now, my friend. When you'll wake up, I'll be there and everything will be fine !"
"I believe you my friend. Fine, I'll sleep for a while." muttered Shion as he was lying in bed. He didn't took a long time to fell back asleep, maybe Dohko's magic tea, or the fact he was sick, he didn't know and didn't care. He just fell asleep.
When he woke up, everuthing was the same, the hundred of blankets, the messed up papers on the floor, Dohko sitting on his side, except that he could see the night sky through the curtains.
"Hey sleepy ram, did you slept well ?" asked the Libra Saint with a tired looking face.
"Yeah...But why do you look so tired ?"
"Well, Saga might have turned schizoid, but that's ok because Ayoros might have been helping me with this one, but Saga might have set fire to a part of the papers we had but it's ok because it might have only burned the new entries and not the old ones so we might have been able to redo it all during the day. But I...uuh...I might got sick...because I've been working too much and you might, but that's really improbable, have...Uuh...gave me your germs..." babbled the Libra Saint, he sure was really pale and snorting a lot. Shion sighed and raised the blankets.
"Come over here sick dumbhead."
"B-But Shion, I'm sick !"
"And so what ? I'm sick too, so jump in, you need to rest and I can't take care of you if you go back to the Libra's Temple. Shiryu can take care of himself for a night. Come over here now. This is an order from your pope."
"Fine pope Shion. I'm coming." laughed Dohko, he took his shirt off and jumped in the bed. "It seems like you feel better, Shion." smiled the chinese Saint.
"Yes, that's thanks to your tea. And if I'm cured tomorrow I'll get you my secret dried fruits, the ones you love."
"Great ! I knew getting sick was a good idea."
"Don't be silly Dohko and sleep."
"Yes my friend, let's get some rest."
