Yes, their ship preferences are awful and I do not respect those opinions.

any specific reason why you hate young m/chanzo? i'm personally not a fan myself either, but i don't think i've ever heard someone else also disliking it so i'm kinda curious. i just don't think they would've been a good pair in their young years.

to preface, i don’t care if anyone likes it, that’s totally fine, this is just my personal opinion why i don’t. i’m not asking for counter opinions.

1. i prefer the narrative of two older men falling in love after they’ve made their mistakes and grown

2. most of it is pre hanzo ‘killing’ genji which is absurd to me bc that was PEAK hanzo grooming and if he was willing to kill his brother for the clan, no way in hell he’d date an overwatch agent and risk the clan’s safety.. likewise, jesse is also trying to adjust and better himself with overwatch, so why would he date an active crimelord and get in major trouble.

3. alot of people treat it as a romeo and juliet type or a cutesy long distance thing which irks me. most depictions also  feminize young hanzo ALOT and i’ve seen alot of racism depicted (which exists in alot of normal m/chanzo content too)

johndave had zero chance of happening so hating davekat for that reason seems kind of silly? Personally even if I didn't like davekat I'd just be happy that Dave ended up being canon bi through it.
